恩慧之路

    Thanks God! We’ve been here over 6 months and got along with Chinese workers in Maple Leaf better. Some of them appreciate our efforts and would like to do something to support the Chinese church. So far, we’ve received $1460 of offering. Last Sunday, there were 17 people attending our gathering and one family would like to introduce their friend working at Union to us and attend our service. We think it’s a good chance to touch more Chinese families via this Union worker. Please see the photos of the gathering through the links listed as below:

    In addition, we’re still waiting for our request for a long term, full time job offer letter in order to undergo our application of MPNP. The process may take 12 to 18 months and would be a lesson for our patience. We ask you for praying for our needs listed below:

1. May God give us chances and wisdom to follow up the Chinese families continually attending our Sunday events and to build up believers.

2. Sharon will go back Taiwan from May 7^th to June 8^th. May God lead her way home smoothly and she will have a good time with our families, since her younger sister will have a wedding banquet on June 6^th.

3. Hopefully, All our documents for applying to MPNP will be ready by the end of week. We plan to send the application attached with them out before May 10^th or it will be postponed for one month when we’re going to come back Brandon.

4. The English study group will go on well continually. We have one more student after last Sunday service. May God open their hearts to know Him and give them wisdom to study.

5. The Friday Bible study will go on well continually. May God prepare more people’s heart by this and change their life by His living words.

6. I made an appointment for road test on May 6^th since there won’t be any vacancy before that. Thankfully, my friend got a report for the car accident we met from MPI and we have no responsibility for that. All of the repairing fee, costing about $4,500, will be paid by the other’s insurance.

7. I will go to three cities, Calgary for Annual Conference of CCACA, Toronto for the course of “Alliance History and Thought”, and Regina for New Workers Retreat, in the coming May. May God give me wisdom to arrange my time (taking 16 days) and provide me financial support t o balance my finance (costing $1800 totally, and the flight fare, $572,will be supported by our church budget).
