恩慧之路

      Last Sunday, there were 5 people attending our gathering and one lady coming first time prayed to and received God as her Heavenly Father. It’s encouraging.

    We request you for praying for our needs listed below:

 1. May God give us chances and wisdom to follow up the Chinese families continually attending our Sunday events and to build up believers.

 2. Sharon volunteers as a TA for Chinese students in one local elementary school every Tuesday while I volunteered as a TA at Youth For Christ (YFC) every Monday. In addition, we both volunteer to interpret for Chinese people at Westman Immigrant Service (WIS) every Monday and Wednesday. May God use us as a channel between Chinese immigrants and community as well as them and church.

 3. Since Sharon is not eligible to work in Canada because of her status, Brandon School Division cannot offer her a TA positions right now. However, Division would like to deal with this issue while we apply MPNP. May God make a way for our application or for Division’s process so that she can help more Chinese students by using her teaching abilities officially in school.

 4. Hopefully, All our documents for applying to MPNP will be ready by the end of April. We plan to send the application attached with them out by the first week of coming May or it will be postponed for one month when we’re going to come back Brandon.

 5. The English study group will go on well continually. We have one more student after last Sunday event. May God open their hearts to know Him and give them wisdom to study.

 6. The Friday Bible study will go on well continually. May God prepare more people’s heart by this and change their life by His living words.

 7. I made an appointment for road test on May 6^th since there won’t be any vacancy before that. However, I had a car accident this Monday while practicing driving by the assistance from my Chinese friend. I guess that was due to the other driver’s drunkenness (The police told me that was not my fault). Thankfully, we are all fine and the damage of my friend’s car might cost $4,200. We are waiting for the judgment by Manitoba Public Insurance. May God help me to deal with this so that I will be able to take and pass my road test successfully.

 8. I will go to three cities, Calgary for Annual Conference of CCACA, Toronto for the course of “Alliance History and Thought”, and Regina for New Workers Retreat, in the coming May. May God give me wisdom to arrange my time (taking 16 days) and provide me financial support t o balance my finance (costing $1800 totally, the flight fare, $572,will be supported by our church budget).
